is as big as the name implies, with a huge hoppiness in its earthy
aroma, a chewy palate, and a great depth of flavor.” Real Ale Phoenixx Double ESB- "It combines a rich, dark, complex
malt character with enough English hops to approach I.P.A. levels.
It weighs in at 6.5% abv, and 55 IBU's. Four varieties of English
hops were used in the kettle (Target, Challenger, East Kent Goldings
and Phoenix). It is also dry hopped in the conditioning tank with
Challenger and Goldings. We blended English crystal malt with a small
portion of chocolate malt to give the Phoenixx its full body and
complex malt character. It is a true Winter Warmer for hop lovers." St. Arnold Winter Stout- "A creamy, full bodied sweet stout
with a subtle chocolate and coffee flavors and a well balanced soft
roastiness. Saint Arnold Winter Stout is loosely filtered to preserve
a rich mouthfeel which is particularly satisfying during the colder
months." Weihenstephaner Vitus - "A light-coloured, spicy single-bock
wheat beer, for both beer lovers and the beer connoisseur. Extra
long and cold storage in our monastery cellars makes this single-bock
a really special beer with full body and a distinctively great mouthfeel.
Prost!" Left Hand Warrior IPA - "The vibrant aromatics and flavors
that are derived from the use of exuberant amounts of fresh flower
hops are what helps create and set apart this most unique beer. While
the addition of locally grown hops from the brewery's own hop farm
contributes to the bright floral hoppiness, the majority of the hop
volume comes from the Warrior hops that are over-nighted from Yakima,
WA. Yet true to the brewery's fundamental belief system, the strong
hop character is balanced by a strong malt foundation, allowing for
an approachable, drinkable IPA that finishes amazingly clean." Original wort: 16,5 % weight 11) Current Wine Selection |
